This song should be required listening for every guitar player before they pick up their instrument on how to say something without saying a word at all.

In case anyone had forgotten, this song just illustrates that there is not a better guitarist on this planet when it comes to playing the guitar on a ballad. Now, if we could only find him a lead singer who specializes in epic ballads, we might really be on to something. hihi

I was just sitting here listening to this song with my eyes closed and his guitar sounds absolutely haunting in this song. If you listen to the lyrics from the perspective Scott sung them from it is really moving.

Much like my favorite singer on the planet beer, listening to Slash play like this reminds me of that "it" that you just know when you hear it. When those 2 individuals let "it" come out to play it makes you realize why you even bother with this and that other band in the first place. That special "it" just can't be replicated, can't be duplicated, can't be replaced. Just reaffirms why that voice and that guitar produced the biggest band of the past 25 years.

im really loving the song musically. Wish Slash would have saved this for Axl one day. I could def see Axl singing on something like this. Reminds me a lot of a buckethead type song.  Weilands vocals and lyrics dont match the potential of the track.

I'm probably in the minority but I found the guitars a bit predictable, would have preferred a sharper tone as well.

Scott's the strong suit here for me, he sounds great.

Scott absolutely makes this song but Slash *give him credit* knows how to play without goin over the top and overshadowing the beautiful vocal melodies and lyrics.

thats hard to do.

Sometimes less is more and that is what makes Slash's playing so amazing here.

People can say someone is the greatest guitar player simply cause they can play 100 notes in 5 seconds but guitar playing 101 can be taught by Slash

It isnt How fast u play, it isnt how technical u play it boils down completely to WHAT you play and no one does it better than Slash. ok

Probably they wouldn't release it because it wouldn't fit with the songs on the album.

Messages will most likely be on their next album-which all of their songs will fit along with Message.

So the next album will probably be the greatest album VR will ever have.
