I can see how they might leave the song off because of the mood/pacing of the CD... I wish they had saved it for a future album though.

There is always hope that the song will be heard, one of Pearl Jam's best known songs (Yellow Ledbetter) was a B-side....

Realizing the song's success they can easily release it as a single. I don't see the reason why they wouldn't do this. They should.

I love Messages, it really gets into me. Ones of the best song i've heard from Slash post-GNR

It seems that Tedy Zig-Zag worked for "Messages", because a few harmonicas of fund are listened.

maybe keyboards too.

Slash Guitar sounds so great, it mealts your heart, so much feelin in some simple guitar riffs, that's why Slash is a guitar god.

I can't belive how people says Slash should learn about creativity from "certain" guitar player, man  Grin  rofl

Thanks Slash  peace  :  love  drool

yes, slash shows he's still capable of writing brilliant guitar riffs and licks.   the question is why doesn't he do it in more of the VR songs?   He hasn't shown this side of him in any other VR song, and a guitarist like Slash should be out in front more often playing shit like that.   otherwise the songs just end up mediocre like most of the songs on contraband and libertad.

I think Scott's voice really makes this song, It just goes to places I have never heard it go before.

This song sounds like scott back in his prime and slash back at the top of his game.  It gets me excited to listen to rock music again and so does gaa&L it reminds of why I like STP and GNR so much because of their raw talent. VR should have forced these songs down RCA's throat fuck RCA

alot of bands hold songs to be b-sides.

look at bon jovi, they held 2 amazing songs off HAND, Unbreakable and Dirty Little Secret. The darkness did the same off there last album with Grief Hammer

Am I the only person that doesn't care for this song all that much? I mean - it's not bad - but it just doesn't do anything for me.
