I know we're still in the third period here, but the writing's on the wall.  Flyers = done.

Agree, same goes for the stars. I think a sweep in both series is likely. How boring of a conference finals i hope the stanley cup finals are more competitive.

Pittsburgh - Detroit has the makings of one of the best Stanley Cup Matchups in recent history

I can't wait

While it is likely that the two finalists will be Detroit and Pittsburgh.. I don't want to say anything for too sure before they both have the fourth W under their belts from these series'.

Penguins played really well. Incredibly disciplined hockey. I liked what I saw. I hope they can bag it up in 4, because it looks like the Red Wings will, and I wouldn't want to give them any more time to rest than the Penguins.

GO PENS!

GO PENS Indeed!  It's a good time to be a Pittsburgh fan.  Hopefully, we wrap in 4 tomorrow...

The pens are really surprising me. You rarely see such a young team play such disciplined hockey.

...until they crumble like they did last night.  Seriously, what was that?!?!   I just hope they got all that "suck" out in last night's game so they can wrap the series on Sunday.

Wow.

With 5-0 at the end of the second, I'd say they showed up today.   beer

Yes yes they sure did. I really didn't think they would blow a 3 game lead. Detroit i'm not so sure about though.

Hey, give the Stars some credit. They have crawled back from the dead. They have a shot at home tomorrow to make it 3-3 and then anything can happen, as they say. The AAC (American Airlines Center) is not as raucous as some arenas, but still, it is home ice. The determining factor is whether my friend watches the game with or not at my house. When we watch together, they lose, and when we don't, they win. I am kidding, but seriously, if Turco can play like he has the last 2 games then I like the Stars changes. Go Stars!!

I was gonna say if you were being serious watch the game in your own homes lol. I really wanna see the stars come back in this. If i can't have my rangers in the finals ill take my second favorite team the stars.

The Penguins propably wish to have Stars out there because it would (if I'm not mistaken) give them the home advantage, but somehow I think the Red Wings might make for even a better final series... But we'll see..

Detroit it is...

As a Penguins fan I'm already excited about the fact that they're in the finals. Hope they're still hungry for the Cup! Can't wait for saturday.

So who's everyone like to win this thing?

I'm gonna go with Detroit in 7. I'm mostly hoping it goes 7 so i can see the last 4 games in HD since time warner in my area doesn't have versus HD yet.
