People.. Seinfeld is so overrated.. pretty much like nirvana

i dont think seinfeld is overrated at all. its just a differnt kind of humor, its alot more clever than ur average sitcom. u have to understand that its a "show about nothing", some people forget thats the whole point.

i think its easily the best ever for its unique sense of humor.

I Love Lucy is alsot fantastic though..... and The Honeymooners is also great.

the only reason i watch seinfeld is kramer.. for me he's the show.. seinfeld himself is a bad actor, fine stand up though, "elaine" is waaaaay funnier in her new christine sitcom.. costanza is pathetic but not in a funny way

i think they are all great expect for jerry. i guess Seinfeld is more of an acquired taste. i just love how its a different take on the sitcom and relies more on clever and unconventional humor.

see,? i can't stand family guy anymore i think its a one trick pony. just random stupid humor, i got bored of it pretty quickly, i like South Park much better.

as far as Seinfeld, it has the best replay value for me. all the interconnected stories they cram into each episode is awesome and i just can't get bored of it, i still laugh watching episodes i've seen a million times. i guess its just more of a taste/preference thing, but i think Seinfed is brilliant.

it's IMO random stupid humor with thin red threads that together fits so great.. wich makes it great.. I love South Park also though.. that's an intellegent show damn it

Seinfeld is great.  I just love how they'll pull up a character or a situation from a couple of years back.

And like Lucy, I can always watch Seinfeld and never get tired of it.  Sometimes with other shows you need a break, but with these two, you never get burnt out.

Yeah, Seinfeld is a bad actor, but in a good way.  I love how he always tries to keep himself from laughing, and when he flashes his teeth.  And let's not forget when he starts screaming hysterically!

Jon, I agree, Kramer is the best.  He is on a completely different level.  But George and Elaine are great in their own ways.  I used to hate George too, but I learned to love him.  He's an ARCHITECHT for Chrissake!

Another great show would be Frasier.  If you don't get Seinfeld, don't even bother trying to watch Frasier.

Frasier is fucking great!!! i have never watched more then a half episode of cheers so like just last week i learnt that frasier were a character in that show too

i find frasier much better then seinfeld.. watches the re-runs of it every night (i remember)

garry u know what.. when seinfeld starts yelling and stuff, that's the thing i hate the most

u guys misunderstood me before i said that seinfeld was overrated not that i thuoght it was boring

Speaking of dumb humor, what from what show is your avatar drawn?  It reminds me of a show that was on in the US for a while (a British show, though), that I can't recall the title of.  The one where the guy answers the enormous cell phone and screams "HELLO?"

It's tough to vote against Seinfeld, as it's truly classic.? It's the only show where I can enjoy the repeats time and again.

I've seen them all like  100 times. And the same for Friends and Raymond. Really, classic  TV that should live  forever.
