Horrible idea.
It would be a superficial, commercial, shallow nothingness. Another "obligation" for the band to fulfill. It would be empty and meaningless to the fans.
The specialness of meeting the band is that it is special, and not everyone gets to do it. If it all came down to who has money to spend to meet the band, then the specialness is gone and it becomes an exercise in padding the bank accounts of the band. Period.

[/Naive] For chicks, lets just say - it's not what you know but who you blow.  For example I was chatting to some chicks outside the Melbourne gig on Sat night before it started. They looked pretty tidy which was why I was chatting to them. Anyhow, they were telling me they had backstage passes so when I asked how they got them they told me that they worked in a strip club and someone from the tour crew (or promotor or something I can't recall exactly) had come in a previous night and handed them out to all the girls. |

Keep in mind that at the actual meet and greet, Axl doesn't show up. At his and the bands party, there was a hot girl there and I was later told that she was a stripper. Basically too, if you are a hot girl near the front, you get into the meet and greet.. then at the meet and greet, if you get friendly with someone from the band, you get to the private party.

IMO it's pretty rude and vacant to get friendly with a band member in order to get to the private party. People that said they'd pay are politer and prouder on comparison.
