well, he makes albums pretty often and has more catalogue, axls promised this legendary album which hasnt seen the light of day thats the only reason people are still holding onto him in such a big way, everyone wants to hear it, fan or not.

plus theres generations of people who got into them who didnt get the chance to see them in there glory days, so its always cool to jump around to some of the older tunes with axl actually singing them!

i know i had fun when i went haha, jungle was the most mad song the crowd went to, everyone jumping in unison, it owned.

But a good rock star becomes a part of the total culture. When G N' R broke in the 80s, they were on everybody's lips whether you loved the music or hated it. Fashion trends were started overnight.........

I guess Marilyn Manson also got people talking, but on the large scale that G N R seemed to affect the mid to late 80s.
It was getting towards the end of a very decadent decade......

That's pretty funny man.  Those guys look so stupid.  There are waaaaay too young bands around who are trying to copy the trashy image of the 80's LA bands that need to realise that it was genuine back then - it was a scene and now it just doesn't work cause it's so false and contrived.
