Yes I know the person that got the jersey for $1000. Not sure if he wants his name out there. But he is a very happy camper. He was happy to help out a good cause!!

I'm not going to pretend that the cause was my prime motivation. Though it's very satisfying that the amount I paid is going to help some people get back on their feet who really need it. The story behind why these items were made available, and the wider appeal, is frankly astounding. It really makes you think how an unexpected random act of violence can desecrate lives, and it could happen to any of us.
