Is that a question about whether or not they actually did the chant or are you wondering why that wasn't mentioned in previous posts?

Anyway, I'm sure they would have chanted tonight, why skip arguably the most 'australian' state? lol
Though I guess if bbf performed a guitar solo of the anthem maybe they decided to skip the chant. Either way, it is bloody exciting.

Just got home from first ever GN'R concert. Quick thoughts because it is late.

Sebastian Bach was excellent. Really has the crowd in his hands.

1/2 hour later GN'R came on. A couple of Appetite openers and the crowd was loving it, cheering on their rock hero. Then for me the plot got lost a little... a couple of new songs without mentioning they are new and everyone started to fall asleep, he could of at least said we are gonna play some new songs so hold tight.. and really no crowd interaction. Baz blew him away there. Solos really broke momentum of the show. Then a bit of a come back. SCOM was good, Patience, Bumblefoots solo was very very good with Back In Black and Aussie Anthem. My Michelle duet was brilliant. Paradise City very good to close out, went off but methinks everyone a little tired.

Maybe crowd was down a little because everyone had to drive (it ain't in city), and a work night.. and only one little bar open!!

But all in all good and glad I can say i've seen 'em live. They need an album though to get these new songs out there, no-one knew them. But maybe they need to tour to gel as a group first.
