Not only mayo if you wanna know. Here in Belgium is it normal to do any kind of cold and hot sauces on the fries. Cocktail sauce, (hot or cold) curry sauce, stewing sauce with mayo,... Even bolognaise sauce is possible. The list of sauces you can do on your fries is just endless. But,i'm talking of topic here so sorry for interupting you.

haha, last time i was in amsterdam i swore the guy asked if i wanted onions on my fries, which sounded kind of good, so i say yea, my friends heard him too. he hands them to me with a huge pile on mayo on them...one taste and right in the trash  Tongue
the rest of the trip we joked about how the dutch word for "mayo" must sound like "onion"

yeah, you're right. we do have a lot of sauces for fries here. though most fryplaces have mainly cold sauces, but plenty of them!
I like it simple though, either mayo or cocktail!....damn it I want a pack of fries right now!
