Of all the GH games, which one to go for? as they do look like fun. I just may have to dig deep into my pockets and splash some cash and buy GHIII.

You said it yourself:

Guitar Hero III. ("Welcome to the Jungle" is a master this time, not a cover)

I mean, come on... You even get to battle Slash and Tom Morello!

An officially unreleased song of an unreleased album (one of the most delayed ones) being revealed, finally, in a GAME. This never made any sense to me.  drool

I think a new GNR song in GHIII was kind of wishful thinking.  Had the album been out this fall then maybe it could have happened.

As for which Guitar Hero to get, I'd say buy number 3, but also get Guitar Hero II as a stand alone disc.  The guitar in Guitar Hero 3 is much better than Guitar Hero 2.  Despite the fact that Sweet Child is a not a master track, I still say it's more fun to play than Welcome to the Jungle.  The into is fun once you get the rhythm down and the guitar solo is pretty challenging on Hard/Expert without being ridiculous like some of the other songs.

Cheers,

Andrew

Slash has lost all his credibility after being in Guitar Hero III and appearing on the cover.

The day Axl is on Rock Band's cover or anything to that extent is the day I quit supporting Guns N' Roses.
I don't care about the songs being in there, that's fine, but nothing says "washed-up has been" like appearing on a trendy videogame.

Just out of curiosity, wasn't Axl in Grand Theft Auto in 2004? hmm.  In addition, I think Grand Theft Auto was a
VERY popular game.  Just food for thought. Wink

I was just being a little sarcastic since the comment didn't make any sense. Wink Axl and Slash are FAR from being washed up.

Then you might as well leave now, because they've captured Axl's "moves" for the game Rock Band!

Get real. Axl was in GTA San Andreas, Slash is in Guitar Hero III. Guns N'Roses music appears in films. It's all entertainment.

i think mr. bucketfoot missed the day slash did a volkswagon commercial.

also, i heard slash on the radio last week and they asked him about guitar hero 3. he said he's played it, but slash can't beat slash in it.

priceless.
