Seeing as SCOM has been on GH2 (or whatever, I dunno much about the game) I wouldn't be surprised that by new they meant new to the game as in paradise city perhaps. as in "You've had a GnR track before, here's a new one"

If they did give permission, I recommend one that's new, create a demand from a different customer base. For me IRS would be the one I'd let 'em have (IF the leak version of CD is the case, then that one instead)

Paradise City would be a great closer, like Free Bird on GH2.  That would make for a great final encore song.

i don't have either GH games i hardly play any thing any more

yea i pretty much thought i was done with playing video games too. tried my cousin's guitar hero game and went out to buy it the next day. tons of fun to play but i have to hold my hand kind of weird cause of how small the guitar is which was making it cramp up and hurt when i played a real guitar, needless to say i cut back on the video game big time.

Looks like Welcome to The Jungle is on it so that is cool as for the VR songs it was said at first the Quick Machines and Get Out the Door were on there but now i see a new list that has Slither and Dirty Little Thing So not sure what VR songs are there. As for the songs apparently the majority of the songs will have the original track so that is cool. I am new to the Guitar Hero thing i just bought it for my son for his birthday and i hate to admit it but it is addicting. I just cant figure out how to play bass or rhthym, any help

Slither is on the GHIII Soundtrack CD.  But I haven't seen it listed (yet!) in the game..but there are reports there are some more hidden tacks/bonus tracks/exclusive hidden characters that are locked away.

Yep, "She Builds Quick Machines".

"Get Out The Door" is also rumoured to appear as a bonus track, and Slash will be featured as a character in the actual game.

But nobody who has seen the complete game track listing (as in, has played it all the way through) has found them yet.  Either they're not there, they're hidden REALLY well, or they're going to be part of a Downloadable Content pack available at, or shortly after, release.

Well, you can find it on any torrent server...but I went to a place here in Rio de Janeiro to buy an "alternative" version of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008(it's alternative because the original stuff is WAY too expansive around here...), and while I was there I saw the cover of GHIII and that was it, last thing I know I was playing it in my house!

It's SO COOL to play with Slash!!!!!!!

Oh, and the Velvet Revolver songs, I don't know, they're not on the tracklist, but I think they will be available to purchase/download/whatever for PS3
