« on: June 12, 2007, 11:09:19 PM »

Just wondering cause I'm not as much as I have been in the past.? I guess I'm glad they are but I don't find myself running to the computer like 06' or 02'.? Just seems like we've seen it before and if there is not going to be a cd then why should we care.? If Axl is doing this for money only then he shoud put the old guys back together and sell out every single night and make a shit pile of money.? I wish they would give us a new cd.? Delete now.? ?

I am very very excited, even more than the last year.

The ''old guys'' dont need GNR. They are already in ''the hard rock machine'', ''the rock and roll salvation'' known as Velvet Revolver  hihi

I have to say I am not excited at all.  I think it is boring really.  In 2002 I was very excited.  When the demos were played and they toured I was excited but not as much as in 2002.  When I saw them in Chicago in 2006 was was disappointed. Right now I dont follow them as much and check this forum every once in a while but thats about it.

Yeah I'm still excited.  2001/2002 I was stoked they got themselves back into the limelight, but that was short-lived.  Then we had a 4 year layoff till their return last year.  And one year later, they're still playing.  So what's not to be excited about?  Until they start cancelling tours and things turn bleak I will continue to be excited.  I HOPE, that when they return to the States, Europe, or other coutries they have recently played they will have some NEW material to play.  But until that point I'm satisfied with what they're doing.  Of course if they do come back to the States and are still playing the same AFD heavy setlist, I will be there as fast as I possibly can.  What can I say?

If they played some of the options a bit more, I'd be more into it. I'm not saying that they need to do a total 180 every night, but it wouldn't hurt to throw in Used To Love Her/You're Crazy/Nice Boys/Perfect Crime/Rhiad here and there.

WAH WAH WAH a tour is better than no tour.  I would be afraid if there wasn't a tour because then there would be no chance of a CD but why do you think GnR is touring cause their gonna drop a album plain and simple.  The shows are excellent the band is excellent Axl is on top of his game once again its very exciting to be a GnR fan.

Getting the old band together...well easier said than done I'd say, plus the current band line-up is totally awesome as it is, so for as far as I'm concerned it should stay the way it is now. I don't think they're only doing if for the money to begin with; this is a lot better than no GNR whatsoever, there's a bigger chance of some kind of update now than there would be if there'd seemingly not be anything going on with GNR.

Anyway, yeah I'm excited, I saw some picture of Axl from the show they did a couple of days ago in the newspaper and as small as it was it really made my day. it's good to see them touring and I really do believe CD's  coming out this year.

The only thing that excites me is the prospect that they might be coming to the UK.  But otherwise, since there is no mention of CD so far, and they seem to be playing less new material so far, there isn't much to be excited about from that standpoint.

If I was Australian, Kiwi or Japanese I'd be very excited, no doubt about it.  As it is I'm not really, but its good to know they're active and not skulking around the US doing nothing.

Im not excited at all anymore. they're touring.....same thing, playing greatest hits and making money while there seems to be absolutely no new album in sight. I'd go see them if they came here, just to see Axl, but thats about it.  but I guess when there's a press release about the album, my excitement level will go through the roof.
