Was Frank wearing the WAR t-shirt? Kinda looks like Axl on that one with a blurry picture...? EDIT: Sorry, I just noticed his hair... It's Tommy.? See what I mean about BBF's t-shirt. It's got like a skull and cross bones and a top hat?

William - from the looks of those photos you were about 5 metres to my left. Awesome shots BTW. To the person asking about Axls voice being ready - its ready, very ready - unfortunately it just wasnt quite loud enough in places.
there is a review on the news.com.au website (search "Perth now" in google - that should find it) but i wouldn't recommend it (I hope I'm allowed to post that info - delete it if I'm not). It dribbles on about him softening up, less active, reduced voice range and no slash. I suggest the media gets their head out of their butts and take notice of what is there not what has been and gone. The comment about his vocal range being reduced is utter horse sh*t.
the concert kicked a$$. I personally could not have asked for more. I rate it 9/10 only because the venue (as always over here) was absolute crap. performance wise I couldn't fault it.

That review wasn't all that bad considering it was a given any media reviews would being drawing comparisons to times past. He does acknowledge that regardless of ones opinion on the current line up and sound it is a special occasion seeing G'N'R live and that Axl seem quite genuine in his reasoning for being on tour and promoting the new band/record rather then just being a cash grab exercise alone. I disagree with a lot of what was said but I expect it to get much worse than that on the east coast.

a few quotes from the article... GUNS N ROSES: The new crew looked a lot like the old crew. how could they say that? not even close.... OLD ROCKERS: Guns 'N' Roses frontman Axl Rose asked "where's my band gone" at the Burswood Dome concert.....another uncalled for jab at the band .

I don't see those quotes in the article (link) I posted? It is very positive.

Yeah it looks like the "where's my band gone" was a joke from Axl. At one stage Rose stalked on stage ahead of the rest of the band and jokingly asked "where did my band go?"That was it.
