I find out funny Axl says the upcoming Guns N' Roses album.  There is no upcoming GN'R album, when there is one slated for a release date, then there is an upcoming GN'R album.  I don't think I've ever been so excited to hear someone else on someone else's record.

I'm definetly going to be wanting to hear these songs that he sang on.  Sounds like they will be kick ass.

Makes me want to start speculating again lol.  Reading this makes me feel that CD is done and that the promotion will start somewhere around the same time that Angel Down is released.  Or at least, maybe that where the planning is going.  Here's to hopin!  Grin

Yeah I hate to speculate, there's been plenty of that going on around here the past couple years.  BUT you would have to think that this collaboration would get Axl back in the spotlight a bit and they'll be able to gauge the audience acceptance which will hopefully be positive.  Then people will be ready for the beast known as Chinese Democracy to be unleashed.  I'd say we're still a ways away though, sometime in 2008 hopefully.  I'd rule out this year, but what do I know?

not really. And even if it was...what does that mean? Axl at any point can change his mind about something which Im sre he already has.

We all need to realize and understand that until the album is in the labels hands, we have no realistic shot at CD

With the mixing process started already back in february, how come the finished recording couldn't mean nothing? Did they get at this stage in the past? Fuck no.

And please, tell me how can you be so sure that Axl changed his mind about it.

Oh, and please tell me if there's no possibility that the label already have the album, but are just waiting for a good time frame to release it properly (I would think Axl could be in negotiations regarding promoting the album the way he wants yet, hence there's no release date by now).

I'm not sure I get what you mean.

I know that once it's handed into the record company word will get around pretty quickly.

I would assume they'll plan an official single and official release date soon after they get the masters.
