Weird - for some reason they just deleted my thread - and for no reason for once. Anyone have any ideas on this - figure I will put it here since it relates to gunsnroses.com: http://web.gunsnroses.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20070604&content_id=a1&vkey=news&fext=.jspSo since this is offially the 2007 Chinese Democracy Tour why has there been no album release date announcement made? Are they waiting until the U.S. leg of the tour to announce it? What does everyone think? Seems odd to name a tour after an alubm with no release date set? Wasn't last year's tour called the 2006 Chinese Democracy Tour? I might be wrong on the name of the 2006 tour so before anyone crucifies me for it, I'm admitting I can't remember. It's been called "Chinese Democracy World Tour" since 2002... '01, actually.

Well, in 2001 they played Vegas and Rio but those were separate shows and were not called "tour", and there was that european tour which got cancelled, I can't remember if they were calling that Chinese Democracy World Tour already or not.

OPENING NIGHT IN AUSTRALIA A MAJOR SUCCESS
Over 15,000 fans packed a sold-out Burswood Dome in Perth to see the first show of Guns N' Roses' 2007 run through Australia. Aussie fans showed their vocal appreciation of the massive production with deafening cheers and signs thanking the band for visiting Perth.
Axl shared a tale of an all-night tequila marathon in Mexico that brought laughter and cheers from the fans. Also bringing laughter and cheers was a cameo by Bubbles from the Trailer Park Boys, who sang "Liquor and Whores" with GN'R. Openers Rose Tattoo and Sebastian Bach both performed stellar sets that went over incredibly well with the crowd.
The next stop on the Aussie tour is this Wednesday night at the Adelaide Entertainment Center.

I thought it was a baby kangaroo! I clearly don't know my Australian animals very well.
I think it's cool that GNR takes time out from thier pure decadence down under to feed the sweet little animals.
Ron's got a sweet shirt on too.

Cool pic. I'm also glad that the updates seem to be more frequent this time around.

Was the July 18th show listed? I can't access gunsnroses.com from my work computer but the last time I checked on my home computer that added show wasn't listed yet.

I am hoping that they also post something about the last show in New Zealand, that would be cool.. a kind of wrap up of that leg of the tour.

Now whilst I would always rather see the whole band play at something like Live Earth and its a shame they are not. That would have been one fucking cool moment in music to see Axl perform with Lenny!! Shame! Mike

I wish GNR could've played. I think they've missed the ball on this one. With the way they play now and the fact that this is WORLD WIDE televised I really think this would've been the perfect show for GNR to headline.
