Well they finally updated it regarding the cancelled Japanese shows.  Only 3 days prior.  Sucks for those fans who paid to sell out the tour.  Nothing new compared to the promoter press release.  The Bumblefoot/Tommy pic is pretty cool though.

You would think that a band like Guns N Roses have resources enough to hire a great webmaster and not a site that quite frankly I could do in Netscape Composer from 1997.

I'm posting this here because it seems I only have a problem with the GNR official site page.

How do I fix the gunsnroses.com page?? Yesterday I was able to see the injury update and the BBF & Tommy pic but now I see the stuff that was there before with the Robin pic and the Japan tour dates.

I tried refreshing/reloading the page but it didn't help.

It's not a big deal.? I just don't want to miss out on any new pics when they're added there.

On the Internet Explorer 6 Tools menu, click Internet Options. The Internet Options box should open to the General tab.

On the General tab, in the Temporary Internet Files section, click the Delete Files button. This will delete all the files that are currently stored in your cache.

Click OK, and then click OK again.

Thanks but it didn't work.? Cry? I even tried re-starting my computer after I did that.

I'm on my work computer so maybe it's some kind of block or something they have on that site.

Your work server probably has a proxy setup for internet access. This decides what you can and cannot access. it would also store recently visited sites so that your boss can see what you're up to ;-)

but anyway, the proxy is probably giving you back an older copy of the website instead of the most recent one. it may load the new page after the cache has expired.

Its not even me being whiny because I blood well aint whiny.

The website is far from good enough to cover one of the biggest band ever. It lacks fundemental information and special treats for the internet fans. Not only for the internet fans but for everyone else stopping buy. Media, semi-interested people etc. Especially the media or label people etc. What runs thru their minds when they see a rather plain site like that would be interesting to know.

Like I said, it could be done on Netscape Composer from 1997.

What i actually dont understand is.. why dont GnR use this site to promote the tourdates which is already on sale..
I know that they are on the site with a direct link, atleast a couple.. but they dont show on the frontsite.. and also.. the videos from
the 2006 europe tour.. why did they take them down.. it would be a good website if they were there for the fans to see... ok

Anyone else notice that the tour dates are constantly up and then removed from the tour section of GNR.com.  Its probably nothing, but weird.
