Most likely it was due to an upgrade in their content management system. I have experience this before while upgrading. It has nothing to do with HTML. That site is XML PHP.

It's really sad that we, as the last remnants of hardcore Guns N' Roses fans, can't get a consistent update from the official website pertaining to 'Chinese Democracy'. The open letter from Axl was posted on December 15th, for crying out loud! Is it too much to ask for a simple update on what's happening with the CD?

March 6th is 2 1/2 weeks away, so I guess Axl figures we know the CD isn't coming on that day. It would be nice of him to clue us in on it's status, though. We are the people who came out to support the band on its' most recent U.S. tour. We deserve better than this rampant speculation. There may be a few of us who are ready to jump off the bandwagon. So many things have come and gone in the last sixteen years, with the exception of a new Guns N' Roses album. My 15 year old son was two months old when the 'Illusion' albums were released! A whole generation has missed out on the GN'R experience.

To the people at gunsnroses.com-----please keep us in the loop. PLEASE.
