Stop reading so much into everything. It's not poetry. Clearly Doug Miller is referring to the musicians who have come and gone since the old band imploded.

If I were in the band and was referred to in this way, particularly if I'd contributed to the songs on the forthcoming album as we know Robin at least has, I would be extremely pissed off. This just gives the impression of the members being interchangeable/dispensable which is something the band should surely strive against.

Robin is getting paid shitloads of money. I doubt he cares too shits what Doug Millers refers to the band as. He could call them Axl Rose and The Teletubbies and I don't think it would bother him in the slightest. Everyone knows Axl is the only person 99% of the world care about. You people go out of your way to prove how much these guys are fully fledged members of GnR with the same status as Slash, Izzy, etc. but the fact is Robin would be the first to say they have not YET reached that status (lack of an album, paid a salary instead of royalites,etc).

I'm sure Doug Miller's writing for the official website must be approved by either the band or management before it goes online. No, Robin probably hasn't even read it, I agree. BTW if he was being paid only royalties, he'd have starved to death by now and be walking around looking like a homeless pers.....

I think people are looking too much into what gnronline is saying.

Unless we are told otherwise, it is safe to assume that the lineup on CD will be Axl, Robin, Richard, Tommy, Dizzy, Chris, Brain and Buckethead. If Ron didn't re-record BH's parts, why would Frank re-record Brains?
