haha i remember a while ago when people were posting links to "leaks" and it was just a spice girls song or something...it might not have been on this forum though, i was very dissapointed.

back on topic:

i think by tuesday of next week we should have some sort of announcement, via the official site or otherwise. ?and i'm sure with the annoucement comes some streaming audio of the single on the site.

Anyone notice they changed the main page to not include Rosemont and Milwaukee in the "Free 90 day fan club bonus w/ buying tickets"? i know it said it at least as of yesterday...hope I'm still entered, because those are the only two dates I'll be going to...

I noticed Detroit was added to it as well. I hope they don't change that!

Merck knows how to piss GN'R fans off, eh?  ok

A release about Jacksonville should have been issued IMMEDIATELY as they found out it had to changed - no excuses. (By the way, where is that one that he said we'd have today?) And, yeah, well, we're still waiting for even an announcement of a single (fuck, I don't care about the album just yet, gimme a single at least!)

You think they'd look at how poorly this tour is selling outside of the major areas and realize "Oh shit, we need new material out" - but whatever - I'll be at MSG and it'll rock, and I'm sure there'll be some kind of new material out by then, but this waiting game is fucking irritating, especially now that we're in the home stretch. (We hope.)

Oh yeah, they're selling that badly?

But then again I've been told by many that playing all new songs for a couple shows is a terrible idea, for instance, because all people wanna hear when they go are some old hits.

Maybe then it's possible that even with a new album they would still sell poorly.  Undecided

As far as I know, there's GA and/or floor seats left for ALOT of the shows.

I love the new band, Hammerstein was amazing, the new songs are amazing, and MSG is gonna be amazing, but I just don't want to see this band make a mistake like they did in 2002, and that's exactly what this year is shaping up to be without new material being released to the masses.

Merck playing his "There's 13 tuesdays left" isn't helping matters either. Way to be specific, Merck, thanks!

Sure, the launching of gunsnroses.com was great, and its a step in the right direction (even if it IS a bare bones site) - but now all the information stops again?

It's a tour promotion site to me. It really makes me wonder if they'll take it down after the tour.

I wouldn't be surprised at all. Either that, or they're waiting until the tour is over to revamp it.

Someone at mygnr just said if you do a ticket search for Jacksonville, you can still buy upto 50 GA tickets if you want - yeah, this is a good omen.  Roll Eyes

I don't place the blame on the band though - I place the blame on management and whatever firm that they have doing this bullshit PR for them.

For Estero, there are no "seats" left, but you can still get up to 50 GA tickets as well. Pretty weird, thats for sure.

I've always been optimistic about that...but I don't know....i mean we only have 2 month before the end of the year and in one week we'll have the tour...and nothing about CD....again....

Even if we did get a release date, would you folks believe it? Axl knows that until it's on the shelf it's not released.
