And I agree on all counts. Finally an official site! The only thing that's a little off-putting is the lack of links or a table for News, Tour Dates, Video etc. at the top. But I'm sure it'll happen when there's more content.

Seriously though, can't wait to see the pro-shot footage. Hope they've got some of the Nijmegen show.
If they've filmed lots of stuff and have all these exclusives, I wonder if there's a chance of this becoming a premium/pay site at some point?

When you attend at least five shows, Axl will magically appear out of thin air at your front door and sing the entire Appetite for Destruction album for you in a Slash costume, with a little Slash doll sticking out of his ass, which he wiggles around a bit during the solos.

Actually, I have no idea. They probably give you special deals and updates. I don't think I'm going to be paying for that, though -- I get enough updates here on the forum and I would definitely join if it were free, but I don't have that kind of money to be in a fan club.

But if there are really cool features like giveaways and stuff maybe I'll join.

The only one I've ever been in was for the Black Cowes and we got presales, exclusive downloads, meet and greets and shit like that.

My wife was part of the Local 83 (John Mayers thing) and she got the same type of stuff. I've heard  cool stories about others such as Pearl Jam, I guess they used to give out a single (a cover or something) to their members every year for xmas and shit.

Who knows what GNR could have in store for us!
