One thing that annoys me is that the pics on the website have low resolution, like the pic of axl at hammerstein and the background pic..

The thing that is interesting at this point, is what they wright in the "Thank You" post.
They are basicly saying, that we will hear news on the GNR front coming next week!!
The Tour is announced, and the tickits on sale, so it has to be something else..

this part get me really excited:

Guns N' Roses fans are back, and the band wants to thank them for the tremendous response to the first 48 hours of concert ticket sales. Be sure to come back to GunsNRoses.com later this week for free, exclusive video from the European Tour, news directly from GN'R and more.

This is amazing!  beer  ok

Agreed, it looks like a picture you might see on a "fan site" made on Geocities, very poor quality.

I'm not saying I disagree, but it's both recent and official, so I'm happy with it regardless...

Under the Thank You ....there is a more link that gives more info.

ABOUT THE CHINESE DEMOCRACY TOUR
Fronted by legendary singer W. Axl Rose and featuring a revamped, all-star lineup of rock veterans (guitarists Robin Finck, Richard Fortus and Ron Thal, keyboard players Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman, bassist Tommy Stinson and drummer Bryan "Brain" Mantia), GN'R will hit the road from late October until Dec. 23.

Does this mean more dates are still to be announced as I don't know of a concert on Dec 23rd?

Since when is You Could Be Mine on Appetite For Destruction? Roll Eyes

I was going to ask that too Tongue

Now we have overanalyzed the latest Axl?s pics it?s the official site?s turn now... no

In the world of New GN'R, Appetite for Destruction includes both YCBM and Patience. This is according to Axl's 1999 RS interview with Kurt Loder, in which he said he had re-recorded Appetite as a warmup. (However, he also indicated it would be released eventually, at least based on my gathering from it.)

New bandmembers? New album track lists.  hihi

HOUSTON, HOUSTON!!!!

houston is the 4th largest and one of the fastest growing cities in America, there no reason for GNR not to play a gig here.

Umm, the reason they'd use lower resolution pics is to make sure the site loads quickly. Not everyone has cable/DSL so I'm sure they're trying to keep the load time to a minimum. Lots of hi-res pictures can really bog down a site, even for people with a fast connection.
