I hope for the time being it remains a free site, and frankly it should.  Look what happened to U2 when they started charging for memberships.  Alot of people including myself did not and will not pay for that.

It probably never will - considering it's taken X amount of years to even get an official site. But what I was talking about was the same things many bands do - have a premium/members area where previews of songs, videos etc are available. Let's face it, GNR have never been shy about wringing a few bucks out of the fans. Nor should they be.
