I must admit life is trite but that's all right

AEG are promoting the Vegas shows, so they couldn't switch to Live Nation (for the website) before. I don't think Live Nation would agree to handle pre-sales for an AEG-show.

Very probably.

And really, anyone that signed up when they re-opened and used that perk to get tickets for Vegas, they have no beef.  Worked out for them, and well worth it.

Its we people that signed up with no intention of going to Vegas, but did so to be all set when our local show was announced that feel a wee bit uneasy right about now.

I don't think we have anything to worry about.

If they require us to sign up again for new memberships, and get refunded for the original ones, that's alright I think.

It's a little bit of hassle, but no big deal really.

I can't imagine they will ask us to pay for new memberships and not get refunded for the old ones. I don't think that's an option.

If they have records of what package people paid for, then I am with you.  You issue a refund and then ask them to sign up again.  It's not ideal, but it would work.  If they don't know what people purchased then..... well I don't know.  For example, I became a paying member back in September 2015.  I bought a cheap package for under $20.  The new packages they offered after the announcement were notably pricier.  If they have lost track of who purchased what, then they're in big trouble and will have to bite the bullet and perhaps issue refunds for more than people originally paid (which I would welcome hihi)

Does anybody have a copy of the legal language after they signed up?  I am sure there is language about termination in it, but I wonder if GNR covered themselves for something like this.  We could have a class action lawsuit on our hands!  peace

Nor I.

But I do think any possible refund we get would only be a fraction of what we paid.  And if you didn't use any of the presales for those first 5 shows, you'll have paid whatever they kept for lapel pins and lanyards.

And then you have to pony up again to get presales for the upcoming shows.

Which I will do, because...honestly, what's the alternative?  But we should, at that point, be free to say that's a bit of a crock.  It would be hard to spin as a great deal for us.

I'm just guessing here, but here's a deal that could be good for everyone:

- The people paying for the original Deluxe membership, get refunded for the amount of the digital membership ($25)
- The people paying for the original Digital membership, get refunded for the full amount ($25)

New membership packages are coming from Live Nation ? Digital and Deluxe.

- If you had the original Deluxe membership (with the VIP lanyard), you only have to sign up for the new Digital membership.
- The original VIP lanyard will still be valid for the next year

Dear Nightrain Member -

We are going to be undergoing some site maintenance on the Nightrain website.  We have many exciting changes and enhancements planned that we hope will lead to an even greater fan experience.  The site will be looking at some downtime as we get everything switched over, but we are asking you to sit tight.

Please be advised that all existing memberships will be honored once everything is back up and running.

Hope to see you at the shows this summer, Gunners!  #GNR2016

Sincerely,

Nightrain Staff

Would this have been hard to do?  It's not like they don't have our e-mails.

Yup, looks like all the old members are in the system (at leas our emails are) because I tried to add a nightrain package, on a lark, and it tells me that my email is already in use.

Tried to do a password reset..and my username is my email addy, which it does NOT like as a username (no special characters allowed, it seems).

So, we literally have no choice but to sit tight...or use an alternate email addy.

I see they are making many small changes to the site right now. The "Join" page was changed, the "tour" page was changed, they switched fonts.

Seems like they are working on it right now.

Shit, my stuff was all saved in there.

I don't even remember my username.  Or password either, for that matter.

Is it our e-mails?

On the old site we used the e-mail as username when logging in.
