I'm sorry, but he got his info from blabbermouth. Here's what the billboard article said "Joining Bootsy in the band are guitarist Buckethead and current Guns N' Roses drummer Brain (both of whom have previously played with Bootsy in Praxis)".

Brain is not coming back.  If he does fine, if he doesnt its cool.  Frank is doing a mighty good job.  Hes bonded with the band and seems more gung ho then brain.  I think that project with bootsy, bucket and brain sounds really fucking cool.  Is there anyone that would ditch GnR after all the shit over the years cause brain is not in the band.

He's not on leave due to his kid though - he decided to take a break until the album comes out - he got sick of playing AFD and wanted to go back playing his own stuff. When the album comes out, it will be up to Axl whether to ask him back or not. That decision may not have been made yet.

Chris Pitman should audition for Science Fiction. Then it would be like a super-group and outsell Velvet Revolver.

Brain is a drummer, most drummers are a dime a dozen so honestly I could care less.

I don't feel he was an important member of the band at all.

Well no, it's a Guns N' Roses discussion board, and yes, we discuss Axl, and other members of GN'R.

However, it doesn't mean we know what any of them would say.

idk though, we do know Frank was added to the album. So, I doubt Axl would kick out/dismiss Frank so easily if/when Brain came back and said (ok I want in now)

I like brain, but in the scheme of things, hes just a drummer. Gnr has gone through what Huh 4-5 drummers. no biggie!! hihi

Yeah, it's not as if Brain is one of the most versatile, talented and well-respected drummers in the rock and avante ouvres. I'm sure he brings nothing to the band that Matt "Hulk Smash!" Sorum wasn't pounding out back in the day. You know, because Brain is such an average dime a dozen drummer. Hell, GNR might as well trade him in for an 808. Axl And The Bunnymen.

Play a CD of Brain drumming then play a CD of Frank playing and I guarantee u won't tell the difference.

I have heard nothing he has done in GNR that is irreplaceable.

The live boots I have seen he didnt exactly blow me away.  He is no Tommy Lee,Lars Ulrich,Dave Grohl or Steven Adler.

Before someone says "TECHNICALLY" I could give a fuck about technical Playing. Its what u play not how technical u play it that counts in Rock N Roll.
