Yes this is truly one of the best albums of all time. It was the perfect album for 1987 too. I wish they would re-record the album or release something to celebrate it. We all know they won't though.

never say never.  the album was recorded again at some point in the late 90s according to Axl.   i'd love to hear it.

Well, not AFD, but we do have a released version of the re-recorded live songs. [Hint - Live Era]

Does anyone think Axl or the record company will do anything special to celebrate the 20th Anniversary? I mean could we see them do the whole album from start to finish or maybe a one-off reunion of the original? band members on MTV or something big like that.


They could. Some say they should. They won't.

Slash said in classic rock that the record company seemed to be just letting it slip by.  So, i wouldn't get hopes up. 

There could be a suprise, but I think that if nothing has been announced by 31st July, then nothing will happen about this.
