At the moment my distance education students are writing radio plays featuring early Rock N Roll music. However, one of my 'special kids' can't get into old Rock N Roll (too slow!), so I have allowed him to use modern music.
We got talking about the Guns N Roses concert and he is now very keen to include at least 5 GnR songs in his radio play. We have decided on KOHD, SCOM, PC, WTTJ and he said that I can pick the last song.
Any suggestions? He is only 12 and GnR is all new to him. Any other advice that I can pass on to this budding young DJ? He would appreciate your comments...
Hey! Hey! In Tuesday's lessons we will be practicing the radio show so I get to play GnR songs!! Can't think of any better way to get in the mood before the concert on Wednesday!!

I managed to get teenage rebellion in, by teaching a unit on Science -- Matter -- Fibres -- Fabrics -- Denim -- History of Jeans -- 1950s -- RockNRoll Music! See how that works! |
