i just read that you have to pay to be in the gnr fan club. is that how it is with all fan clubs? i have never been in one thats why i am asking, and do you get lots of perks out of it, i read that velvet revolver invited there fan club to a making of a video. i am not expecting anything like that, but i am wondering what do you get for your money.

You gotta pay to be in the Metallica MetClub to. I think its a bit silly but thats the way it is. Lets just hope Guns open theirs soon.  |

I know you used to have to pay to be in Prince's fan club, probably still do too.
But Prince had perks to being in the fan club, he would release songs on the internet available to fan club members, and club members had access to advance tickets (good seats too, not lame ass nosebleeds or lawn seats for inland invasion).
Hopefully GNR will do something like that too

personally, i really like it... its cool. but im still waiting for my Spiral Package.

GN'R had a fan cub 10-15 years ago..Wish I still had the stuff they sent. I think there was a membership card and a few useless pamphlets. Not much insight on the band musically but I recall one w/ info on Duff and BMX bikes..Also it was not periodically and all of a sudden it just stopped coming..

i was in the aerosmith fan club when I was younger just for the ticket thing. I sat 4th row center at MSG. GnR should set something like that up. |

yeah, i was in it too. more like 18-19 years ago...late 80's...got a card, some stickers, and some pieces of paper to order t-shirts...the club suddenly just ended....im still waiting for those 90 days of the new fan club...... |
