The one thing I will say about all of this... yes she was let out because of who she is, but she was also there in the first place because of who she is. No one in this country gets 45 days in prison for driving on a suspended license after a single DUI. Most people don't see a day in jail until their 3rd DUI.
Yes she is a rich spoiled c**t , but I think this whole thing was put in motion by an overzelous judge... then blow totally out of scope by a corrupt sheriff... God Bless the US Justice system

It wasn't just for a single driving under a suspended sentence and DUI. Apparently after she got arrested for the DUI, she was suppose to go to some alcohol course and never went. She was then pulled over 2 times for driving with suspended licence which resulted in breaking her probation. I've seen people thrown in jail for a longer period of time, for less then she did....

Even if she were to become somebody's bitch in prison, it's obviously not as bad for chicks...they're used to being penetrated (especially Paris).
By the way, has anybody seen Conan O'Brien's take on this whole story? He'll say "Paris Hilton is in jail" and go out for a coffee break and get his shoes shined while the crowd applauds wildly the whole time. The other night he did the same thing for "Paris Hilton is out of jail" and the crowd booed the whole time.

Justice is served.
The only thing that would be better is if she tries to escape and is captured and sentenced to 10 years hard labor. Either that, or shot in the back so we don't have to tolerate her drama anymore.
Where is John Hinckley when you need him?
BTW, the sheriff who let her go after 3 days made suggestions that she is "mentally disturbed." Gee, you think so?

The girl had a DUI, drove on a suspend license twice, violated her probation, failed to enroll in a court ordered treatment program, never started her community service hours, showed up late for court 3 prior times, and was late again for court the last time.
Probation is a second chance, rarely do you get a second chance probation. She gets the DUI, then fails to do any of her probation...she goes to jail. Happens in Florida all the time, as it should. She was only treated differently by dragging this out as long as she did. Once and average joe violated his probation he would have been arrested, held without bail and then sentenced.
I had an old "friend" who got a DUI. He was put on probation. Dumb ass went out and got another DUI, thus violating his probation. They put him in jail, without any bail. His parents had money, so they were able to get a lawyer in the court house a few days later and allow bail to be set. He was released until his court date. When he came to court, he was sentenced to jail for the first violation and then probation for the second offense upon his release. Total idiot, and did about 30 days or so in the Hillsborough County clink.
I think the sentence is fair, she'll still probably only do half of it anyway, which is also about correct (over crowding etc.) I find it amusing that in her letter she stated that she should not be placed in jail because she provides us entertainment from our otherwise dull and mundane lives. Quite the opposite, she is providing much more entertainment getting locked up. Bon Voyage!

They say she is in a horrendous state of mind, but then, it's probably withdrawal symptoms.
She snorts and drinks and is now unable to do so, she'll have a bad week and things will settle, prison could help her more than she thinks, or at least, help her nostrils.

I don't know how much truth there is to it but my friend says he heard people on the radio saying her "undisclosed medical condition" that she tried to use to serve her time at home is anal herpes. He says the radio hosts sounded like it might be an actual possibility. Apprently under stress outbreaks are more common and severe and she couldn't even sit. God I hope it's true. I hate her.

PARIS Hilton-bashing took a nasty turn today when a hoax email began circulating claiming the jailed hotel heiress had been seriously injured in a stabbing frenzy by a digruntled inmate.
The hoax report features on the viral website
www.omeletto.com
and uses realistic CNN banners and livery in an attempt to fool the unwitting reader.
The world has been quick to put the boot in to the American celebrity heiress since she was sent back to prison on Friday, but this latest attack is the most vicious so far.
In the report, the story quotes "unnamed sources from within the Lynwood medical ward" saying that "Paris received two wounds to the chest, one to the back, one to the throat and three to the abdomen. Although her condition has been stabilized (sic), surgeons are pessimistic about a full recovery. Their main concern being that the puncture to her back may have severely damaged her spinal cord."
The website describes the weapon used in the stabbing as a shank made from a sharpened metal ruler.
A "guard" was quoted as saying, ?She probably had it coming.?
The report ends by taking a final swipe at Hilton's singing career.
Source: "The Advertiser", Monday 11th June, Paris Jail Hoax.
The plot thickens...
