How long was it on the charts (billboard) and how many has it sold?

I believe it has sold about 4 million at this point..and has been on the charts since it came out in march of 2004....

3.5 million I believe was the number that was listed in a recent UK article and selling.

If it wasn't Axl who put it out, then who did? I thought Axl would have a say in things like that. Slash doesn't have the rights to GnR songs anymore.
