My Violent heart, to me, sounds more like old-school NIN, compared to the more rock sounding With Teeth album. I like it. I don't really see it as a single, but it's not filler either.

BTW, the best show I've ever been to was NIN in 2005.

im so happy trent finally pulled off "we're in this together" and itsounds fucking awesome. he was supposed to play it for the 1999 VMAs cuz that was the single out at the time, but he thought it would be too difficult to do and they ended up doing The Fragile, which also kicked ass.

I'm kinda hearing the same tiny hint of general half-assedness in the music,something that was (for me) present through the WT.
However, overall mood,way it is spoken/sang and something that is extremely difficult to define and shall hereby be called as Kahunas of this song are just kicking my ass. Great stuff.So much better than 1st few WT leaks few years back. Woohoo!

Gotta love the marketing campaign. They really know how to get net communities hyped up:p Entire nin fanbase  has turnd into screaming 13 year old girls searching for huge raging clues.It's fucking great:D

I love the verses in it.
Not sure about the chorus, it's soo very  "all american hard rock"*, imho.If I had heard the chorus in radio I'd have guessed it's pissed off Green Day or something. Song as a whole is noisy and  sounds genuinely angry tho, which is fucking great
