I read in an interview (sorry, I don't have a link) that he wont wait another 5 years for a new album, and the wait will be shorter.

I just caught Reznor doing "Hurt" on the Katrina benefit. So far he has been the highlight, excellent rendition on piano

Does anyone have an mp3 of Trent Reznors piano version of hurt from the Katrina benefit on MTV? It was sooooooo sick and sooo amazing. I noticed how he said Crown of thorns instead of shit.

Sick peace

Hurt in downloadable  Avi form from the same show.

"I weaaaar this crown of SHIT thooorns"

Trent looks all set up for business meeting at Manhattan, the sado-maso gothic prince of teh ultimate darkness days are  pretty far behind.
As years go by, it almost looks like people grow up and get older,it's  horrible.

Very strong performance of Hurt, it's neat the song keeps resurfacing in various memorable shows here and there, it certainly deserves it.

Subject: nine inch nails, jerome dillon update

during last night's show in san diego, nine inch nails drummer jerome dillon had to leave the stage due to an irregular heart condition. upon further examination by local emergency medical services it was decided to transport him to a local area hospital for further examination. this morning he is doing much better and has been ok'd to return to touring on monday in phoenix. tonight's show in tucson has needed to be canceled. refund information will be available through the promoter.
there are no plans to postpone any additional tour dates.

looks like he is gonna be just fine.

i dont think so, i remember in an interview that Trent said he wasn't planning on doing that for With Teeth.

The next major release should be a new album, maybe next year, Trent has already introduced a new unheard of song on the tour, "Not So Pretty Now".

According to Spin, Jerome Dillon is too much of a mess to continue with nin's tour.
http://www.spin.com/features/news/2005/10/051003_nin/

Wonder who they find as a replacement. Josh Freese is prolly the best guess anyone can come up with, him having pretty close ties to band already and all.
Would be fairly cool/unlikely to have Chris Vrenna back.

yea but that was published before the news was out that Jerome Dillon played at the Hollywood Bowl, i think hes ok and and will play the rest of the tour. Trent said that Josh Freese was ready to play tho, but Jerome ended up being ok and playing.
