I saw them in Boston twice. I'm hoping to get a ticket to the November show.

hey thats awesome, u won't believe this my friend promised to come up from Jacksonsville University to see them with me at MSG..... though he wasnt too happy when? i told him later on that they are coming to Jacksonsville...haha. he's gonna miss so much time cuz hes driving up and the shows on a thursday....

anyway i'm really pysched i wonder how this new guitarist Aaron North is gonna compare to Robin Finck cuz i thought Finck was a wonderful fit for Nails....yes yes i know his backing vocals weren't that great but his guitar playing, charisma, and stage presence were off the chart..

On the GN'R board, posters were giving praise to the "fragile". I think that it Reznor's best work, it's a masterpiece, all the way through. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Reznor doesn't even like that album that much anymore.

"The Fragile" is absolutely amazing, my fave album ever and best album ever. it grows on u so much until u are in love with it like i am. The range of different sounds and themes is just mind blowing, its like a journey.

i have a question, is the Downward Spiral deluxe edition worth getting? i bought the regular album at the begining of the year cuz i'm a dumbass but is the remixing noticeably different? and is the bonus disk worth it alone?

Exactly!
I didn't like it much after first listen, but several spins later, it's easily the best NIN album IMO. There's a bit everything on there as far as styles go, I liken it to NIN's very own UYI set.

I couldn't make out That much differerence between the 1994 version, and the new one. However, it's worth getting for the bonus disc..."Dead Souls" (a Joy Division cover) is really cool.

If you are a fan of "The Fragile" check out "Things Fall Apart." It's a cool companion album.

Anyone know how the tour is selling?

It's interesting since Downward is the best NIN record and one of the Top 10 albums of all time. Just kiddin', tastes are different.  ok

yea i love the Downward Spiral and respect it as an album but i find that it is hard to listen to all the way through and is abrasive and hard to listen to at some points as well as being emotionally draining(more than the fragile, but in a different more tiring way lol) ..i love it to death but i find that i listen to The Fragile more...

i also find that the themes in the fragile are less direct than the downward spiral and i can relate to them more myself but thats just me...

rejection, alienation, betrayal, hatred-Somewhat Damaged
loss of a loved one-I'm looking forward to joining you finally
helping a loved one- The Fragile

etc etc etc...

Yup, trent also performed a new song:

you can watch it here

http://www.mtv.com/bands/az/nine_inch_nails/audvid.jhtml

had trouble getting that working tho, anyway u can DL the audio here this should work

http://rapidshare.de/files/4964309/Non-Entity.mp3.html

Nine Inch Nails~ "Non Entity"

The sky is not the same shade of blue
Every single thing I believe isn't true

Missing in a maze of monochrome
How did I get here? How can I go home?

The echoes in my eyes
Of all they used to see
Burning down the world
the ashes and debris
and all thats left of me
Non Entity

Tried to stand in line
Tried to obey
The ghosts of what I was
Keep getting in the way

Staring at the sun
blinded by the light
Now I'm afraid I'm fading out of sight

The Echoes in my eyes
Of all they used to see
Burning down the world
The ashes and Debris
And all thats left of you
And all thats left of me
All have washed away
Non entity

very cool sounds like something off of "Still", good stuff can't wait for more material, a new album is supposed to be released in a "timely fashion" hopefully that means next year some time.
