that very easily could be about it.

I bought "The Fragile" today

I got about 5 songs through on my way home and I like what I've heard so far, I already can tell its gonna take multiple listens for it all to sink in.

oh yeah.  so do you like it  more than With Teeth?  I am starting to like the new album, it took several listens.  The Line begins to blur suddenly clicked with me.

Im still listening, I love With Teeth, I dont know if anything can be better than that to me, something about With Teeth totally resonates.

The Fragile is great though, and down  the  road it may surpass With Teeth, but right now, nah, I gotta say With Teeth is my favorite.

"The Fragile" can be a bit self indulgent .

I had the money today to buy the deluxe edition but bought Dean Koontz' new book instead in hardback plus the only record store I have is Wal Mart, so fuck an edited version.

When I go back to see my woman in 3 weeks Im gonna pick up the deluxe Downward Spiral, I cant wait!

U know what, I use to knock Trent Reznor because I judged him wrong *sound familiar to u Tied UP?

When I actually gave him a chance and overlooked my unfair prejudices, I found out I really dig the music.

I have no idea.

Wal Mart sells rated R movies but not CDS with Parental advisory stickers

they will sell a kid Grand Theft auto San Andreas but won't sell em a cd that has some curse words.

If you like them on cd then to see them live will blow you away.  At least that has been the case with me.  I've seen them 3 times at different points intheir career and have been equally blown away each time.

Loving With Teeth to tiny bits here.
Well, atleast to fairly small  hunks. There are few songs(namely Collector, Beside you in time, Line begins to Blur  and Hand that feeds) that really don't do "it" for me..But other than that...just amazing.

"Only" is just..wow. Very freaky spoken word discoish jumpalong thing. It reminds me alot of Bowie's Berlin-era  releases for some reason. The song is  definately the greatest thing that has happened to music industry this year.
Sunspots and Every day is exactly the same are lovely aswell.

Not sure where Used Illusion's lyric slacking comes from.
There are certainly bits and pieces here that are either...just..uhh..corny.(hand that feeds) or something  thousand different slightly depressed teenagers in thousand bedrooms have written in thousand tiny black notebooks.(line begins to bur) But hay. It wouldn't be a nin album if this wasn't the case.
In overall, I think this is a prety strong album lyric-wise aswell; Only, Sunsports,Right where it belongs are all great stuff lyric-wise.

Loving the general vibe of this album. There is just..something very special in it's sound. It's "mainstream" and radiowave as hell, atleast when compared to other NiN-releases but still..somethign so unique right below the surface.

In another news, TR has won the courtcase vs his ex-Manager/friend John Malm.

Id 'hve to say that overall, because of the raw anger and agressiveness of the ep, along with some very trippy parts "Broken" would have to be my fave.

I could never undermine PHM though. And Further down the ... because this album introduced me to NIN

I finally bought With Teeth. There?s something about every NIN album that makes it hard for me to swallow, it takes me more than the usual listening time with the album for it to get through me, understand it and actually get the rythm of the songs...now that I did, I can say it is a very good album, very well done and Trent?s voice and music always take me back to awesome days.

Man, I got 4 NIN albums:
Pretty Hate Machine, Downward Spiral, The Fragile and I just got "With Teeth" and wow !!!!
I am madly in love with this album... the best so far !!!

If you already heard "The Hand that Feeds" I strongly reccommend "Only"... is my favorite... I can't quit hearing it.

I like "Getting Smaller ", "The Collector", "Every Day Is Exactly The Same" and of course "The Hand That Feeds"

Trent is still the best !!!!

Saw NIN live for the first time ever last night at the Brixton Academy in London.

First, I love the venue (saw VR there in January) and second, I've been listening to NIN for 12 years or so. So I knew that seeing NIN at this great venue would be something special.

I was right! That was one fucking great show!  Grin

Pretty cool to hear the crowd singing along to Hurt.

There were no encores, I don't know why. Maybe they wanted to finish before 11pm.....

Set:

Beside You In Time (intro)
The Frail
The Wretched
You Know What You Are
The Line Begins To Blur
March Of The Pigs
Something I Can Never Have
The Hand That Feeds
With Teeth
Terrible Lie
Burn
Closer
Reptile
The Big Comedown
Love Is Not Enough
Suck
Even Deeper
Getting Smaller
Gave Up
The Day The World Went Away
Hurt
Wish
Starfuckers
Head Like A Hole

They also had a nice lighting show.

Very mixed crowd, people in VR, Slayer, NIN and Iron Maiden shirts.
