Well, not being a junkie anymore certainly helps. He seems like a much happier and stable man.

Excellent review and video medley of the LITS tour and stage production.
This must be the best stage production in the history of music! The Forum show was the ultimate highlight.
I hate half of the songs of Y0 but seeing them perfomed live in that 3-D interactive setup is a magnificent experience that you want to experience over and over.

9-16-08: South American tour changes/cancellations

Due to unforeseen technical issues, Nine Inch Nails' October 15 show at the Poliedro de Caracas in Caracas, Venezuela has been moved up a week to October 8. Tickets for the October 15 show will of course be honored at the new date.

The same issues have unfortunately forced the cancellation of the following shows:

Tue-Oct-07 Sao Paulo BR Via Funchal
Thu-Oct-09 Porto Alegre BR Pepsi on Stage
Sun-Oct-12 Bogota COL BIMA Mall

Ticketholders seeking refunds should contact the Via Funchal and Pepsi on Stage box offices for Sao Paolo and Porto Alegre respectively, while those seeking refunds on Bogota tickets should contact Tu Boleta.
Fans who purchased nin.com pre-sale tickets will receive a refund

Nashville, TN show added for 10.31.08

David Bowie & NiN

http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=David+Bowie+%26+NiN+(Hartford+1995)+&search=Search
Oh how much I would have LOVED to be in there. Bowie at the peak of his post 1980 career and TR at peak of his Pre-Fragile career, touring together! Sharing stage together!

It's very cool how they handled the warmup band/headliner band exchange in there. Towards the end of Nin's set more and more Bowie members would appear on stage after each song, eventually having more or less 2 bands at stage covering 4-ish Nin songs, then Nin&db would keep playing together a few Bowie songs, then Nin would fade out and db took it from there.

Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor Hammers Republican Party During Live Show

    * Add to My Fav Bands List More Nine Inch Nails

Nine Inch Nails have updated their political attack on the Republican Party ahead of the US election this November.

During their 2006 tour a photo of president George W Bush appeared during the track 'The Hand That Feeds'.

But at the band's show in Los Angeles on Saturday (September 6th), the image morphed into the face of republican presidential hopeful John McCain, reports Spinner.

The transition relates to the theme of the band's 2007 concept album 'Year Zero', which frontman Trent Reznor used to show what would happen if the world's current political structure remained unchanged.

You can read all about the Reznor's thoughts on the album in Gigwise's interview with the musician HERE.

McCain will face democratic hopeful Barack Obama this November.

NIN to head back to Australia

Do not adjust your resolution. The Soundwave Festival website updated at midnight (AEST) to tell us that NIN are making their way to Australia for a string of all age festivals on the following dates -

Saturday 21 February - Brisbane - RNA Showgrounds
Sunday 22 February - Sydney - Sydney Showgrounds
Friday 27 February - Melbourne - Melbourne Showgrounds
Saturday 28 February - Adelaide - Bonython Park
Monday 2 March - Perth - Steel Blue Oval

Still no word on what Trent will be doing after the shows, but keep your eyes on the official Soundwave Festival website for more details as they come to hand.
