Talking of hope, are you still waiting for that Tapeworm album?

/jarmo
Nope, don't have to. no
Any hope of it ever getting released got very officially killed sometime around 04 or 05.

Trent responded to some fan on nin.com access and said something in the lines of "never really getting what they hoped for/not as good" and they will not continue on it, or something like that. I guess this was 2005.

Actually its been on official GN'R merchandise since the first show in Vegas back in 2001.  I did wear the shirt and a couple of people noticed it, lol.  It was fun though and the stage setup was GREAT.  I've never seen anything quite like it.  Besides GN'R its the best show I've ever been too.  Trent kept running up beside Robin and singing and seemed really into it.  There was one point in the show where his voice cracked really bad and he said "PUBERTY", pretty funny moment.  Great stuff though, GOD GIVEN was the best track by far.

Yeah I semi remember that quote too. Something like there being "lots of legal hazzle due to everyone being on different label which would have been worked out, had it been a very good album."

/speculation,
It might well have had  a lot to do with the fall out between TR and Charlie Clouser too though.

I'm pretty sure Maynard also played a Tapeworm song or two with A Perfect Circle, which kinda' pissed Trent off because he didn't think the material was ready to be unveiled.

Yeah, APC has been  playing  Vacant since 2000 or 2001. It's the only  Tapeworm track that ever saw light of the day even unofficially.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsLmCE0XU-I
I recall APC adding Vacant to their setlists got TR pissed off. (most things do!) but it didnt cause any relationships getting broken; the most intense tapeworm workety work years came after, in 02/03.
..Thats 6 years ago. How  time flies:l

Later on, Vacant  got renamed as Passive and added to the cover album APC  released some years back. Thus officialy making it APC song, not Tapeworm song:p
Besides Vacant I suppose soundtrack of Underworld is close to Tapeworm as you can get.
Also, Saul Williams' latest album has some remainders of tapeworm here and there.

Thanks for the link dude, that song song rules.

But yeah, I don't think Trent has any hard feelings towards Maynard.

I remember reading an interview with Maynard from a year or two ago where he describes Trent as a "close friend" Smiley

Oh np, its a cool song idd.
Something got lost when APC took it from live environment back to studio though, I think:/
Passive is just soul-less as hell, when compared to seething violence thingy of Vacant circa 01.
Would be lovely to hear how the New Orleans Studio version of it sounds.

The new Nin.com is here!!And its very cool.
Messageboards, chat and all sorts of goodies.

It's a very modern and hip web 2.0 type of a thing tying  the remix site, flickr,  band's youtube acc and whatnot into one more or less tight entity.

Theres a chat room where some of the guys visit also. Its pretty neat, though most of it is just flooding about Trents ass or Robins fingers. (However, if youre going to use it, I suggest using a real IRC client, ie. mIRC)

btw. anyone got a what.cd invite? Would be appreciated.

Prolly the  only reason pic was released right there!

..Upon further inspection he is idd taking a leak in some sort of kiddy version. I wonder if short guy-jokes are generally" okay" inside nin:P

Cortini getting licked by no lesser man than  Mr Danny Lohner himself.
