I'm pretty excited, looking forward to see what these remixes are like. Thought the WT remix album was kinda weak.

If you consider EDIETS ep as the WT remix album, I agree. All the remixes from WT and YZ sucked. Too many dance mixes. It's time for some desconstruction, acoustic versions maybe? Danny Lohner and Charlie Clouser contributing? I want more details!

I've seen this show live and I highly suggest you to see it too, if possible.

Hey GNFNR and Alan - I was at Reading too. NIN were fkn awesome. Band of the weekend - no question. Way exceeded my expectations of them live - and I was prepared for them to be good!
Was so fkn happy they played Dead Souls, and Hurt was v moving. Very impressed with the stage set-up - very fkn cool. Check out this link for footage

I guess it was one annoying festival tour for nin, all in all.
Here's footage of TR clashing with another Promoter. I think it's from Greece.

:O Current incarnation of nin's live band is over:
from
http://starbulletin.com/2007/09/14/features/story05.html
Quote
Speaking by phone Wednesday from somewhere between gigs in Seoul and Hong Kong, Reznor was low-key, firm but accommodating.
And he had some unexpected news to tell.
"YOU ARE getting the last show of the current incarnation of the band."
Although Reznor's touring band of drummer Josh Freese, guitarist Aaron North, bassist Jeordie White and keyboardist Alessandro Cortini are excellent support players, "at this point, I want to switch things around a bit. Nine Inch Nails as a rock band configuration, we've done it and we've done it again. I see other ways I can present the material in concert, more challenging, something new. I don't want it to go stale."
This group has toured together for two years, he said. "It's a well-rounded concert, a good collection of songs from different records."
If the show approximates the high production values seen on the 2006 tour DVD, "Beside You in Time," it should make for quite a spectacle, blinding strobe lights included.
"The show evolves, like a film," Reznor said. "It has a flow to it. And it'll be not what you saw on the DVD. It'll be cooler than that."
But the time has come to dial back.
"The idea of five guys playing loud music two hours, while it's the culmination of fine tuning over a lot of years, has got to change once finances come into play, especially performing in markets outside of the mainland U.S. I want to whittle things down."
Reznor was initially hesitant about doing this part of the world tour because of the expense. "But when you see a lot of people who don't speak English, knowing every word of your songs, that's pretty motivating and inspiring. And it helps that I have new management, a new head on my shoulders and the Internet to use."
After two years of touring, Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor is disbanding his current lineup after this tour's final show in Honolulu. The band includes Jeordie White, left, Josh Freese, Reznor, Alessandro Cortini and Aaron North.

I'm pretty glad to hear this,Josh Freese and Jeordie did great job,(plus it was just plain cool having ex twiggy in band) but i hated Aaron North with great passion . He was million times too rock n roll for nin. He looks, acts and plays like it was Hanoi Rocks or something.

it'll be really interesting to see what Trent does next for NIN live...
maybe Year Zero part 2 is gonna be so different musically that it wouldnt work with the current rock band configuration....

I saw the WT tour five time in '05-'06 and they were among some of the best shows I have ever seen.
But I can see why Reznor would want to try something different.
I think a stripped-down show, with just Reznor and his piano would be great.

i'm hoping it's not everyone leaving, because NIN at reading this year was the closest thing to a perfect live show i've seen. i can see why it's so expensive to put on the shows, but he could play less shows in far bigger places, example instead of a full UK arena tour play at the new wembley, if the first date sells out add another.
