it would suck if the book starts leaking as well...
first you get the page, 139, then 39, then 69, etc.etc...
that would be fucked up

once this is all over, hopefully Axl might do a solo project, and relax from all the pressures of the industry and the fans.
I remember some 1990 interview where he said he might do some solo work...
(slash made a comment about it... like Axl was "I want the drummer from nirvana, the dude from NIN etc...etc)
The drummer for Nirvana??? First, Grohl (however you spell fruity's last name) sucks at life.
Second, Nirvana is the reason rock is dead.? They single handedly killed rock n roll.? Doesnt that piss anybody off??
Im glad Kurt killed himself before he made it any worse. But i digress...

I think it is pretty obvious based on the English used in his brief statements to his fans that Axl does not have the English language mastered.? It would be the most confusing thing ever.
"So then I was not going to inform the fans after I went to inform them only if they are informed previously."
Do we really need any more autobiographies from people who did not attend college.? He's a musician, he needs to go write some music.
So in order to write an autobiography, you have to have either went to college or graduated from college?
preferably, the ones who didnt tend to get ghost writers.? Do you honestly believe that Axl could really put all of his thoughts to paper and make in any bit coherent?? I dont.? Even his brief letters to fans are confusing and when he does interviews he tends not to be able to string together fully contiguous statements.? Im sorry, Lebron is a great basketball player, but I dont want to read his autobiography either.?
Are you guys dumb or something? These people dont write their own books. They pay people to sit down, listen to their story and write it for them. There is a career field devoted to this kind of thing. They're called "writers."
Regardless of who wrote it, if it said "Axl Rose's biography" on the cover, id buy and read it. Even if it was a clever ruse to sell a book about knitting, id read it.

I have to agree that Del James would probably be the chosen writer for this book which is a shame because I would much rather read it written by the man himself ~ not a version written by Axls friend who is overly defensive.
I'd like to hear Axls opinions about his early early days looking back on them now

that's not what actually should have been.
it was some old Slash interview where he disses Axl...
how Axl was, " I want the dude from nirvana, that guy from nin...etc.etc.), and slash then says how he was like,
"Dude, you dont know any of those guys"

I was curious about how many pages 12,000 words was, so I did a google search. I'm not saying this is scientific, but I'm putting down what someone said on an education site.
"If you type it in double spacing, then you will fit about 350-400 words to a page. 12000/350 = 34.29 12000/400 = 30 About 30-35 pages."
This is just FYI, not trying to start debate.

I know they'll be posts saying 1st a new album. But like a prvious blog stated if Axl could give another extended intervieww/ stories like he did on Eddie Trunk that would be interesting. I think he has enough for a great LA tell all book. David Lee Roth had the best one I feel. Very humerous and not afraid to dish dirt. Aerosmith and Motley were so so, to much bragging about the drug past.
What are the DLR and Aerosmith books titled n when did they come out i think i might get those to give a read.
I think an Axl Rose Autobiography would be great, an interesting insight into the life of one of the most misunderstood icons in Rock N Roll.

I'd love to get an autobiography, but.. I don't see it happening. He seems to like his privacy a little more then others.
As for the could he/ couldn't he debate: He most definitely could. And anyone who thinks Slash penned that book of his is crazy
99% of it didn't even sound like him and he wouldn't know some of the words used in it, based on... Slash being Slash lol.
Well, we can hope..

Maybe Baz was. But I doubt Axl was. Of course you know everything with your little eye-rolling icon. I guess you couldn't read the part about, how I wasn't trying to start a debate, yet provide information.

I would, too. But I'd be more curious about the "missing years" from 94-01 (or even later).

Of course dude,didn?t you know?
Now, seriously, the fact that someone doesn?t go to college doesn?t mean that person is an ignorant. I know very educated people and they never went to college.
It would be cool to read Axl?s bio, I bet it would be more interesting than what we think.

Agreed.
Something tells me an autobiography of the "missing years" would be a very interesting read.
