As i'm from England i just watched the last episode of this show EVER!

just had to give it a mention as for me its one of the best shows thats been around for a while.

A funny and entertaining show without being anything more than a married couple. A real feel good show.

I love TV, but few shows i miss when they are gone, but this is one that i do.

One of the most underated shows of all time.

Just had to give it its due ok

Yeah Seinfeld is the grand daddy but you have to get it to love it. Too many people in England just dont get the humor, which is a shame.

Friends was solid sitcom writing for 10 years, just as King of Queens was. It was just a simple show, but unlike Seinfeld you didn't really have to follow it or get into it to like it.

Seinfeld was Love / Hate but i dont know anyone who hates King of Queens, but then maybe not as many people loved it either.

Either way it was a feel good show. But Seinfeld takes some beating. If there is a better comedy Character than George Constanza then i'm yet to see it. And Larry Davids writing is just fantastic and thats carried over to Curb too.

That 70's show is great too but i wouldn't put it in the league of Seinfeld or King of Queens but then i guess thats the beauty of opinion.

Yeah, King of Queens is a high quality show. So innovative and smart. Must have been tough to write those shows;

Fat joke,
Fat joke,
Commercial.
Fat joke,
Reverse fat joke,
Fat joke,
Commercial.
Fat joke,
Fat joke,
Menstruation joke,
Quick fat joke,
OLD GUY!
Fin.

How can that not be in syndication until the end of time?!

The show was a good show for what it was. Anybody watching it think they were going to do things to far away from the formula should ask them selves why they were watching in the first place.

As far as the King of Queens.....it's a tolerable show, but Seinfeld totally owns it. ?I remember a few standout episodes of KOQ like the one with Patton Oswalt trying to take Lou Ferrigno and Adam West to the comic convention, but they did tend to get very repeatable after a while.

As for That 70's Show...I can't tolerate it whatsoever. ?Ashton Kutcher and Wilmer Vladimera (sic) are about as entertaining as watching paint dry.

American television really is at a shit spot right now for quality. ?The US version of the Office has grown stale (it had it's moments, but it's far run it's course).

With this writer's strike coming up it's probably only going to get worse. ?More reality television and game shows like "Are you smarter than an imbred teenager" or "Survivor: Baghdad" (actually that might be interesting). ?

I just buy up all the old shows from the 80's and the few British shows I've grown attached to like Spaced and Blackadder and Monty Python, Big Train.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

ummm, The Honeymooners had alot of fat jokes too. how can u resist?? lol.

u do have a point, but i still like King of Queens. i thought Jerry Stiller did a great job too.

i like the Honeymooners too, i forgot about that show, i'd rank that pretty high. old show.

i dont think The Office has run stale at all. The Office and 30 Rock are great. all other comedy shows are pretty bad though.

It's alright. Not very origanal though. Same dumb, fat-slob husband/wife who knows better shtick that's been on forever...total rip-off of the honeymooners

Top five American shows, IMHO

1. M*A*S*H
2. CHEERS
3. Three's Company
4. All in the Family
5. SEINFELD

UK:

1. Red Dwarf
2. Black Adder
3. Monty P.
4. Mr. Bean
5. Are You Being Served
