It turns out the band Nazareth is reuniting this summer.
Considering they are a big influence of Axl/GNR, I think they would make an awesome opening act.

Biting you would totally rape! Anyway, the criminally neglected Nazareth would be awesome, in my opinion, but I'm afraid the audience wouldn't know any songs other than Hair of the Dog and Love Hurts, which could hurt the energy. I think regional openers are a great idea, like they seem to be doing with Rose Tattoo in Australia/NZ. So, Nazareth for the UK would be a stronger opener than they would be in the US, I think (and much to my own despair!).

Skid Row is also playing Rocklahoma on July 14th the same day that GNR will be in Japan.
According to Pollstar, Sebastian Bach will be performing at both shows.
