I think Halifax and Calgary were the official sellouts.

Toronto, Ottawa, Edmonton, Winnipeg, and Quebec City were damn close, and the St. Johns NB show was the only smaller one (small area though so cool of them to hit it).

But a non-sellout in Toronto was still about 18,000 people! It's a big arena.

If GNR are going to do another leg in Canada, I'd suggest:

London, ON (sold out in 2002)
Hamilton, ON (close enough to Toronto to get some people to drive. Tool is playing 2 nights there, their first show sold out)
Montreal, QC
St. Johns NFLD
Regina, SK
Vancouver BC and/or Victoria BC (Dunno if Vancouver would be possible after 2002)

Not Regina...I live in Saskatoon and we have an arena that holds 15,000 for concerts. Regina's arena only holds about 5,000. If they come through Saskatchewan it will definately be Saskatoon. I also went to the Edmonton show in December and I think it sold out the night of the concert if I'm not mistaken...But if it wasn't technically sold out it was close enough.

Regina has Mosaic staduim we can fit 40 000 there Wink

Your right if GnR was to play it would be in Stoon although I think 15 000 is a little high for seating I could be wrong but I thought it was aroun 10-12.  The Brandt center is about 7000 for  shows.

There is no St. Johns NB - St. John's is in Newfoundland, Saint John is in NB. Also, regarding it not selling out - it would have if they had not booked Halifax two months before they announced the Saint John show (we all went to Halifax!)

They will not tour the U.S or Canada without the cd being in stores, not even a release date, in stores...Although I'd still go, it wont happen

I'm pretty sure they would do it, no problem. They've done it twice already. Yeah, and I'd go to any concert too, even with no album out, but I don't think that the album release is a "pre-condition" for any kind of tours right now...

Hahaha... after last years "Pre-CD tour," people said they'd never tour again without the CD being released.
Well look where we are yet again...

I wouldn't be surprised in the least if they tour the States and Canada yet again playing practically the same setlist as 2001.

Probably, they will be gone for 2 or 3 months, and then start another tour with no word on the album release
