There is talk about doing another string of Canadian dates but nothing confirmed. Our focus is going to be on doing these shows and setting up the release of the record. Can you send me a link to the forum? Does that mean that the band is going to come onstage and shout "BOO!!" at the crowd??  ?  Canada isn't TOO far away from me..... |

I love the attitude around here, and I'm starting to understand the angst our of our Australian/New Zealand brethren. The fact that GNR are playing period is exciting, whether it comes with news of an album release or not. Get over yourself. Accept the fact that certain people who live in the prescribed area are happy to hear news of a GNR show. The world, and GNR, does not revolve around you.

Fortus doesn't normally say something unless he thinks its the truth at the very least...
Lets hope hes right, and that at least they are going/have filmed videos for the singles

what would make sense is after the upcoming dozen or so shows they'll play this set in South Africa and South America which they haven't played yet wit the current line-up, then release CD, then play North America and Europe again supporting the album.
I expect to see them again this fall here (USA) not long after i get to buy Chinese Democracy.
