one of the coolest things about LA is the Rainbow Bar & Grill, never a dull moment there and its a good spot for celebrity and people watching.  80s metal lives!!!!!

Hey Good luck out there. I hear LA can be rough.? Are you moving out with anyone or alone? Rents are real expensive..well you know..like NY. Try to move somewhere either on the Westside/Santa Monica, in Hollywood, or in the Valley just over the hill from the Westside/Beverly Hills/Hollywood, like Encino/Sherman Oaks//Studio City/Burbank/Toluca Lake and so on.  These are for the most part decent parts of town, and you won't have too much trouble getting where you want to go as long as you can stay off the freeways as much as possible    They're also reasonably affordable, relatively speaking of course.  But coming from New York you won't be surprised at the cost of living anyway

I don't know what your financial constraints are, but you don't want to live too far out in the sticks because it's damn hard to get around if you have to use the freeways too much.  There are some nice areas like Thousand Oaks and Agoura Hills but they're way out away from where all the night life and cool shit is.

My advice to you is start drinking heavily............ then move again to San Diego. Tell the truth. You are leaving NY because mikeguiliani hasnt left you from the second you walked into Mustang Harrys last May 12th.
