i think he, like bono uses charity for fame now rather than for the cause, i think they have both been corrupted.
Please give examples.
easy. for example U2 want to do a new (ands pointless) single. they think "ahh i know, we will get greenday with us to appeal to a different audience too...hmm, ahh thats it, we will add videos to do with the new orleans floods"
Everything bono and bob do, they always make it so they get lots of media coverage of themselves and lots of attention, half the time the news headlines arnt even about the problems they claim to be trying to solve, its just something like "bob Geldof to hold charity gig" and they just talk about bob geldof, and his previous live 8's and what a saint he is.
And cmon, do you really think people of my generation would have a clue who bob geldof or the boomtown rats were if he hadnt of held live 8?
I can guarantee most wouldnt.
That video made a good point, and the whole world saw it. It showed the world that the US wastes itself in a pointless war, when things at home ain't that peachy. What's wrong with that?
? I'm not well informed, but I'd like other arguments in favour of Bob Geldorf and Bono's assholeness. Anyone?

Those are your assumptions, not examples.

just look at the way a everyday 13 year old acts next to a 16 year old, a big difference there still. and thats only 3 years difference.
