lol... I used to work with a guy named Rob Konowitch.  His father (Abbey Konowitch) happened to be one of the heads of MTV in the 80's and 90's.  Obviously he has access to all kinds of great stuff.

not to mention the interview with Dizzy and Tommy from 02. it was proshot, there used to be a youtube link for it, I remember watching it. it was great.

CBGBs existed indeed, there was a proof - One In A Million video from MTV. so the rest of the show was eventually released.

but there is NO PROOF, repeat NO PROOF of it existing. that's it.

i don't know of any proof that a fan has gotten hold of the video.. but anyone that was at the show could tell you for sure that the show was professionally shot.. there was whole camera crew their..   like i said.. i have now clue about the trading circle.. but can say pretty confidently that a pro shot recording of the show exists.

There has been a camera crew at EVERY SINGLE SHOW since 1991.
