Problem with that is these people tend to want something equally rare...which will belong to another trader/horder and you'll need yet another equally rare boot to trade with them.

Unless someone's nice enough to start it off by giving something away or you tape a show yourself its very hard/expensive to trade with some of these people.

yeah thats how they work, its not like they give it to very few people, it seems they dont give anything out to ANYONE at all, which is unfair

That's true. But somehow I kinda understand their point too.. at some level.

1. To record a show, you have to take risks + you can't enjoy the show to maximum. <-- This is the best reason to not share the show to everyone.
2. You paid your ass off to get something you don't have (= something rare too).

These two things may 'cause a feeling like "what did anyone do to get these from me free?".. but if the "hoarder" is not ready to trade his shit to any other bootleg, he's just an idiot. That's when I'd call him a hoarder But I understand that people who have something really rare don't want to trade it to anything less-rare in these two occasions. But if they do trade (or better: share it free), that's fucking amazing.

I personally own an MD-player (+ could've borrowed a good mic) and almost was going to record the Helsinki shows last summer, but I decided to not to do it. I wanted to enjoy the shows. So people who are ready to just stand up and keep their mouth shut for the whole show, I appreciate them very much. I would have shared my recordings with other people, but I understand if the recorder is only up for trades at the start.

There is voicing your opinion and then there is saying 'i want to lamp the shit out of him'.  I have dealt with Emiliano and he is a good guy.  Where is your proof.  What makes me laugh about the GNR bootleg community is people believe the hype and bullshit out there.  Where is your proof?  Seriously......if you have some, show it.
