Huzzah!

I wont let my joy be tempered by the fact he remains in office untill the technicalities are resolved

To the rest of the world moaning about your governments consider ours:

Tony Blair won the last election with only 33% of the votes, and our new leader, Gordon Brown, will be unelected!

Good bye Mr Blair. Thanks for nothing.

And Iraq.

Name 1 bad thing (besides Iraq and the America relationship) that Blair has done.
He has done a far better job as leader than the majority of people before him.
People always find it so easy to criticise him, mainly just coz they think theyll get a cheap laugh out of it and it makes people think that they actually know something about politics. U can tell a large majority of people who slate him read the Daily Mail or some other piece of shit paper like that

Forgive my ignorance , but how long before a vote of confidence on the new guy , and does Britain have a liberal party of any consequence since Labor abrogated that responsibility ?

Brown will try n not have one at all. Don't think ne1's happy about that. It seems highly undemocratic to me

Who hasnt  Huh and his ideals may have changed/adapted over time, as opposed to him losing them. Still dont sound like a bad thing to me

destroyed any sort of socialist ideal within the labour party. there is no credible left wing party in britain thanks to him.

that plus the infiltration of spin doctors into government. the entire process of running the country is so far from the hands of common people its crazy.

Obviously, to give a real oversight on his premiership we'l have to wait a few decades but right now he gets a 5 out of 10 and that is being very generous.

-600,000 friends from Poland

-Probably the most confused criminal justice system in the democratic world

-40 billion of botched investment in the NHS

-Making University even more of a joke - oh and the fees as well, god bless ya for that!

-Peter Mandelson

-selling peerages

-pension ''reforms''

-''multiculturalism''

Ya know the list is just endless....

oh and one last thing i'd like to thank him for, kind of a package really:

the lies, the spin, the corruption - and lets not forget that smile

How many Euros do you have to pay for your cup of espresso and your croissant every morning?

Don't worry. You're still living in one of the most backwards countries in Europe.

For good and bad.

What's that supposed to mean?

No matter how much you want to change it, the UK is part of the European Union.

I guess things were better in the Victorian times.  Tongue

Mind this, peerages are for sale on the net, what was wrong was to sell them to chosen friends who came first on the list..( thank god, no one bought the one i look at in sadness)

That's how many Poles dies in the second world war. The Polish pilots won the Battle of Britain for the English and yet they weren't allowed to march in the end of war parade - in case the Russians were offended.
The Polish government also had an agreement that they would release the Polish pilots if they were needed in Poland. During the Warsaw Uprising in 1944 (not the Ghetto one) the brave Poles held out the city for 63 days waiting for their pilots to come and drop off more ammo. They didn't. The whole city, bar one avenue, was raised to the ground. 600,000 Poles..........

The Poles had taken back the centre of their city in 3 days! Polish flags were flying after almost 5 years AND Polish radio came back on air!!!

I can only imagine the holiday I'm going to have when Bush steps down as Pres.  It'll seriously be better than Christmas, my birthday and the Super Bowl combined.  ok
