BUT....... it seems like another band playing 80's style music with no modernisation.

thing is, alot of people my age want this type of music since we missed out on it, these people playing it rock to us, so i dont think they are gonna do too bad Smiley

Yeah that's true man, and I'm not knocking them - just saying what it is I dislike about them.  I've just found that there are a few bands that can tip their hats to the old stuff but put a modern edge on it.  My examples of that would be:

The Answer (for the southern rock)
The Glitterati (for the L.A style rock)

the answer sound like a led zeppelin clone to me, nothing new there, they are good though, good live act too.

The thing about having an 'old' sound is that you have to be really good to pull it off.  That's why The Answer are doing so well - they are so good live and Cormack has an amazing voice both on CD and live.   So they get away with it.  I feel that they put a good modern twist on some of the songs though.

i preffer the sleaze bands though, they look real cool too and have all the "HEYS"  n shit in the chorus's, its sing along perfection.
