Someone once said that there are unresolved copyright issues with the UYI songs that prevent them from playing more songs from UYI.... Dunno if that is true though.

Personally I`d like to hear civil war and estranged, m8b a version with vocals of don`t cry

Shotgun Blues
Breakdown
Estranged
My World
Dead Horse

these are all songs written solely by Axl that have not been played live since the turn of the century.
I would bank on Estranged and Dead Horse one day making a come back. Not expecting (or longing) to hear My World or Shotgun Blues.

Wouldn't it be amazing if they played Breakdown? One of my favorites and wasn't even played on UYI tours.

bands can play whatever songs they want live regardless of any copyright issue. You don't have to pay royalties to the author either because all venues pay dues to BMI, ASCAP, and SESAC for the use of published materials for live performance or to play the recordings on the sound system.

It's ony an issue if the performance is recorded and sold for money.

Exactly. Or there would be no cover bands in the world whatsoever.

guns n roses play long sets as it is so it would come down to chosing the songs people (and the band) would most like to hear (and play) and i think more appitite songs suits that especially as at the moment its their first major tours in a long time.  maybe they would add more in the future but they would probably replace other uyi songs as i don't see them dropping the current songs they have from appitite (unless to add more brand new stuff).

Was it the Paris PPV where Jeff Beck was going to be a guest performer for Locomotive but had to fly back home sick?  I would have loved to hear that.  Anyone know if they ever did it Live?

There's footage of the whole band (minus Axl) rehearsing Locomotive with Mr. Beck.
