I can't remember where I found this one
What is Merk's email address, I'll send the Lies Version 2 to him....

It was a guy who was a graphic designer or something. He's done a cool job. The only defect was that the cover was little hard to be GN'R related, maybe it was reffering more about China, this cover didn't have lots of feeling onto.

The last one with the bike is very clever. I'd like to see a common cover for Chinese Democracy. The Axl's Don't Cry stuff shows desperation, but it wouldn't be wise to show and old picture of himself? Tongue and recycle it anyway.
The Lies, issue #2 rocks! Now it's a wallpaper in my computer Wink. Man, you have a sense of humor!? Grin
Send this one to Merc or anyone who's responsible about fan's suggestions, Axl should see this one!

wow, illusions, great work! i really dig the image usage on both the front and cd face. i'm not so big on the large "compact disc" logo though. i've always hated that thing. i think it would be awesome if they used your imagery with no text for the front of the cd booklet and then did the type on a translucent sticker on the outside of the cd case. a hardcore band called "he is legend" had their artwork that way on their most recent cd and it looked really cool.

(sorry for resurrecting such a dead thread... just noticed when the last post was!)  Embarrassed

Before all my posts about subjective matters there should be an IMO before the post. I took this sig down but of course it has to go back up.

I don't know who made these two, but I've always thought they were cool......The second on came from Robin's site and was made by a fan.

That cover for the Chinese Democracy album is very very good.

What programs were used to make that art? Photoshop I assume.

Peace out.

I think this is the cover for Chinese Democracy:

Some cool covers you guys made, love the Lies one best
The real cover does look something like this
but it is more plain, just a wall and graffiti
I have it somewhere, I will post if I can find it

 Dude,
? We know that the album cover is going to be a spray painted wall photo but, your "Dead End" pic is an awesome alternative!!! It says a lot and is very striking. Very original. Good job!

? ? ? ? ?Matt

P.S.-Everyone who has posted a pic here,I have printed for my own collection. Although, the spray painted pic was too big to print it all! Please make it smaller!!!
I love the art and the ideas and thoughts put into all of them. Keep up the great work!!

I made some GN'R designs for random class assignments in graphics design. Here is one of those designs. Take it if you want it... or don't just thought people might want to see it. Also, in case you are wondering the guidelines forced me to have it this size, b/w, and as simplistic as possible. If you have made any designs put them up also. I would like to see them.
