so i got bored today and started daydreaming about what the chinese democracy cover might look like (and what i'd like it to look like) and i photoshopped up a little something. axl, if you're listening, i'm available Wink

that would be cool...

I think axl already reveled the cover in hong kong.. sadly no pictures were taken... but yours looks pretty cool...

I would use it for a bootleg cd or dvd thats for sure....

So what did the people in Hong Kong see? - I sure hope the cover isn't a simple photo of the Great Wall of China. I am guessing it'll be a piece of art work like AFD or UYL, or atleast that's what i hope, as i prefer that sort of thing to photographs Smiley

nik - you can definitely print it out for your mp3 cd. the original is 5x5 300 dpi and i can send it to you if you want.

axlfink - i can get in touch with the lesser kings if you think they'd be interested in me doing some work for them. i am a graphic designer by trade, so i would certainly be willing to give them an estimate for packaging design. i'm located in central california (about 6 hours north of LA) so i'm not exactly local, but i would think the distance would be manageable.

moderator - what? you thought my thread title was misleading? Wink hey, at least it got some people to come take a look!

everyone else - thanks for the kind words. i was going for something that was very modern and forward thinking, but still had enough of the classic guns n' roses style to not seem completely out of place. sort of like what i would imagine axl is trying to do with the music. but then, i spent about an hour on it, whereas axl has spent 11 years or so, so i would imagine his would be a bit higher quality.
